This will be a special homecoming gig, as it's the first time that I perform my own music back home! A full-length feature concert in the heart of Gamla Stan, this is a chance for anyone Stockholm-based to come see me perform live!
The “ACOUSTICS SESSIONS” is a monthly showcase of new talent and unsigned artistes, regularly featuring touring performers as well as musicians from the local scene. The night is presented by the talented singer-songwriter, Ben Drummond.
Official launch concert for my new album CIRCLES. Themed around the circulation of time and space and the cyclic nature of our universe, the short album features five pieces for multitrack violin. This concert will present the compositions in a live context, using live looping, electronics and surround sound to create an immersive aural experience.
Thinking/Not Thinking Fest is an annual festival of contrasts, curveballs and juxtapositions. Currently settled into it's new home of Birmingham, the festival explores clashes with genres and has previously put representatives from the worlds of metal, sonic arts, post-punk, jazz, hardcore, noise, contemporary composition, math-rock and free improv in a way that functions as it's own cohesive entity. https://facebook.com/thinkingnotthinkingfest/
Sitarscapes brings together the soulful Indian sitar mixed with electronics, violin, guitar and cajon. Through a combination of notated and improvised material, four performers create a modern take on indian classical music.
Sound the Art project is a platform to inspire young people, especially those who are visually impaired or have other types of disabilities, and asylum seekers to create and perform experimental music. I'll be giving a presentation on my creative practice at 5pm followed by a public performance at 7pm.
Frontiers presents a concert of new works by Royal Birmingham Conservatoire composers. This concert will feature a wide range of styles and utilise the flexible layout of the Lab venue in creative and inventive ways. I will perform Morning Haze from my upcoming album Circles, so this will be a chance to hear a little preview of what is to come!

As part of the annual Flatpack Film Festival, this evening presents an audio-visual twist to your usual night out. I'll be performing a live score together with the fantastic Chloe Knibbs, and you'll also get to experience avant-accompaniment to silent Japanese film by performance trio Kamura Obscura as well as a new audiovisual outing by Matt Eaton (Micronormous, Pram). And don't miss out on the delicious South African foods brought to you by Ubuntu Foods!

The LAB, Birmingham Conservatoire
A concert featuring original works by selected composers from Birmingham Conservatoire. My latest piece Souq - inspired by the Arabian marketplace - will be performed by the Kaleidoscope ensemble.
Sunday Classics is a wonderful concept that brings classical/concert music out of the concert hall, to this quirky local pub. I will be playing a 45min set of old and new tunes in the second half. Come have a drink and enjoy the music! Entrance is free!
I have been collaborating with composer Chloe Knibbs to write a new score for a short film featuring a contemporary dance choreography. Chloe and I will be performing the score along with the film, using violin loops and clarinet melodies to create exciting and interpretative atmospheres. This performance is part of the Flatpack Film Festival.
The UK-based contemporary ensemble Decibel is making a visit to Birmingham to premiere new works by composers at Birmingham Conservatoire. This will be the final concert of the Frontiers festival, so it is definitely one not to be missed! http://www.frontiersmusic.org/
